Bio: Since 1983, Dwight Nelson has served as lead pastor of the Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University. He preaches on the “New Perceptions” telecast, teaches at the theological seminary and has written several books, including The Chosen. He and his wife Karen are blessed with two married children and a one-year-old granddaughter.

BIO: Bio: Remwil Tornalejo is a Filipino who grew up in the western part of the Philippines. He finished his AB Theology degree from Mountain View College, Bukidnon, Philippines. He earned his Master of Pastoral Studies degree from AIIAS. After a few years of pastoral experience in North Central Mindanao Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, he was called to serve as a Literature Ministry Seminary dean and instructor at the South Philippine Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. He also served as the chair of the Theology Department of the South Philippine Adventist College in Davao del Sur, Philippines before coming to AIIAS to study in 2005. He finished his MDiv degree and immediately proceeded to take his MTh program. He started teaching at AIIAS on a half-time basis until he completed his DTheol degree from ATESEA Theological Union. He is married to Marilou Manatad Tornalejo, and they have four grown-up children: Wilmaree, Adlai Wilfred, Ingrid Idyll, and Dwight Mark.

How to Mentor New Believers in the Church
Ron Clouzet, DMin, Ministerial Secretary, Northern Asia-Pacific Division
Bio: Dr. Ron Clouzet is the Ministerial Secretary for the Northern Asian-Pacific Division. Prior to this appointment, he was the Director of the NAD Evangelism Institute (NADEI) and a Professor of Christian Ministry and Pastoral Theology at Andrews University.
Dr. Clouzet was born and raised in Argentina. He graduated from La Sierra University (B.A), Andrews University (M.Div.), and holds a D.Min degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, having researched the subject of Adventist theological education. Dr. Clouzet is currently finishing a Th.D degree from the University of South Africa, studying the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the writings and experience of Ellen G. White.
Elder Clouzet pastored growing churches in California for 12 years, followed by 14 years of teaching ministry at Southern Adventist University as Professor of Theology and Ministry. He was Dean of the School of Religion from 2000-2006, where theology majors have led over 5,000 souls to baptism under his tenure. Currently the institute he directs is responsible to engage 80-100 Seminary students in direct evangelism resulting in several hundred people choosing Christ and His church each year.
Over the years, in addition to administrative , Dr. Clouzet has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in ministry, preaching, , church growth, apologetics, prophetic guidance, the Gospels, and Christian spirituality. In 1999, he received the Excellence in Teaching Award. He has been a guest speaker at many church and scholarly gatherings in the North American Division and abroad dealing with various topics such as the Holy Spirit, spiritual theology, ministerial training, and the Christian life.

Passing on the Sound Doctrine: The Role of Teaching Doctrine in the Local Church as Part of Evangelism, Nurture, and Discipleship
Bio: Gheorghe Razmerita was born in Ivanovca Noua, Cimislia, Republic of Moldova (at that time, part of the Soviet Union). Together with his wife Diana, he enjoys the company of their children, Edmond Cristian and Edna Daniela, both early teens.
Dr. Razmerita joined the AIIAS Theological Seminary in April 2019 as an associate professor in the Department of Historical-Theological Studies, in which he had previously taught between 2006 and 2008. Prior to his current teaching appointment at AIIAS, Dr. Razmerita served as a professor in the Department of Historical-Theological Studies at Adventist University of Chile, Chile; as an assistant professor in the Department of Historical-Theological Studies at Adventist University of Africa, Kenya; as a district pastor in South Moldova Conference; and as an assistant professor of theology at Moldova Union Seminary, Republic of Moldova. He has also served as a visiting professor, teaching courses for the graduate programs at Adventist University del Plata, Argentina and Adventus University, Romania.
